Dear Ambassador,
Firstly, let me thank the people and government of the Greater Zartanian Empire for their continued commitment to our security and prosperity. Your pledge of support for the Utanian people and state has been very warmly received by the Utanian government. Our kindest thanks.
Despite the claims by Thomas Abels (leader of the Nationalist Party) on Shecker radio, we cannot, as yet, find basis in fact for the suggestion that the MCZ are behind the recent incursion into Utanian territory. Furthermore, we can not find any evidence suggestion that the government of Armatirion are behind the group from South Bay that trespassed on Utanian soil.
Our investigation is currently continuing, and questioning of the individuals captured in the incident has not yet been completed. Should the Utanian government find cause for suspicion that we are facing a force greater than a mere rebel group in South Bay, we shall provide alert you immediately.
We shall provide your Embassy with the intelligence information gathered from our investigation, as this may be of some benefit to the Empire.
With respect to Mr Abel's perceived threat of naval invasion, while we have not heard from the government of Armatirion directly, we find no basis in fact for his assertion, and concur with the Greater Zartanian Empire's assessment that Mr Abel's claim is "exaggerated".
