Charleston North, Twizel looking tight for Democrats

The seat of Dodson is looking a tight finish for the Democrats, who are currently 350 votes behind the Peoples Party, primarily because the Burovians have sapped many Democrat and other right-wing voters away from voting for the Democrats.

Political analyst for Zeitgeist News, Professor David Kapur says that this may be the very situation that undermines the Conservative-lead coalition government and may even install the Peoples Party into power in the House of Representatives.

Twizel looking very close for Democrats

Twizel is a rural seat with a large Utani population, and the city of Twizel in the middle of it, with agriculture-serving industries. Utani voters tend to choose between Democrats and either the Peoples or Utani Saedaj parties. This year, rather than see the seat fall to the Democrats again, the PPP and USP united behind local Utani candidate, Johnathon B'yanka (PPP), and appear to have significantly threatened the Democrats.
